How Much Would Different Applications Cost?
- One applicant: S$220 if approved, using the assumptions above.
- Two applicants: S$440 if both are approved.
- Three applicants: S$660 if all three are approved.
These are illustrations of ICA's published charges, not guarantees of the final amount. Family members can only be included where each person falls within an eligible ICA category. See who is eligible to apply for Singapore PR.
What If the Application Is Rejected?
The S$100 submission fee is non-refundable, so it isn't returned if ICA doesn't approve the application. Completion charges only apply after approval.
- Original application fee: paid once at submission and not refunded.
- A later fresh application: is a new submission, so the S$100 fee applies again.
- ICA's appeal process: is separate from a new application. Refer to ICA's current instructions.
Whether to appeal, reapply later or wait depends on your circumstances. Read appeal or reapply after a PR rejection.
Other Possible Expenses
Additional costs depend on individual circumstances and aren't set by ICA. They may include:
- document translation
- certification or notarisation where required
- obtaining replacement documents
- medical examinations, if instructed
- optional professional assistance
